First few days on the ship!

Here are some pics on the ship so far.

First day (Good Friday)

The view from our balcony

Lunch view

More Sydney views from the ship

A very busy harbour

The oldest part of Sydney (The Rocks)

Unusual bench on ship

Corning has a glass blowing show on the ship.  Bob wants to take glass blowing lessons when we get home.

The ship hasn't even left Sydney yet.

Thought we'd sample some martinis

Second Day

Last night, on our way back to our cabin after our night out at the Sky Lounge for live music

When we got back we came across our first towel animal.

                                                                      Third Day (Happy Easter)

Bunny Ice Sculpture at Buffet

I'm not sure what this is made of (looked like icing)

You should be sitting here

Or laying here!

Tomorrow we arrive in New Zealand at The Bay of Islands.  We are doing a shore excursion to the Glow Worm Caves & the Kauri Forest.  The weather is getting better as we head east.

  1. City harbours and cruise ships all look much the same but I see one difference in yours so far. Or perhaps it is an optical illusion. It is the picture of Bob lying on the bed reading. Is the end of the bed actually rounded? If yes, does that mean the tallest person gets the middle of the bed? What fun!
Hope you have lots of sunny days and enjoy the glow worm caves. I found the caves were the best part of New Zealand, although we went to different caves from the ones you are going to.
