Sydney (difficulties w Pics)

Hellooooo everyone.  Just so you know, we are trying to figure out how to get our pics on this blog with our computer, which has only Google Chrome and that 'cloud'.  We had Kyle do it for us before through his 'normal' computer.  We have the pics ready to go but can't figure out how to get them from the Google+ Album to the blog.  Anyhow, we need to figure it out before the cruise (since we will have limited internet access) which is on Good Friday.

So, we left beautiful Hamilton Island yesterday (I will miss that place).  Flew to Sydney and are staying at The York Hotel in the CBD.  Good location and nice place.  The weather is raining right now but I'm hopeful it will smarten up.

We went for a walk with Kyle and Pat to the Opera House and had dinner at the waterfront (there's LOTS of waterfront here).    Dinner was good and very different.  I had Bruschetta but it was made with figs.  All the dishes were very flavourful with lots of herbs, etc.

I'm hoping to venture to Darling Harbour and/or The Rocks areas today.  I will write more later and hopefully include the rest of my pics of Hamilton Island and the GBR.

  1. If you end up going to the rocks try and check out La Renaissance Patisserie & Cafe at 47 Argyle Street, The Rocks NSW 2000

    They've got great cakes there

  2. Really enjoying the blog. Looks like you are having a great time. Having a bit of trouble adding comments though. I added one yesterday but not sure if it worked.

    1. Your comments are coming in fine. I've been replying to the emailed comment alerts but I'm not sure if you anyone gets them. I know they don't come on the blog.

  3. Love your updates. Have you had any Magnum ice cream bars? Have you had a pie? Freddo frog chocolates? Tim Tams? Maybe some Cordial? There is much to eat as well as see.
